THREE PHASE VARIABLE AUTO TRANSFORMER

Our three phase variable voltage transformer are ruggedly designed and no special care has to be taken to maintain auto transformer in normal environment. Our variable auto transformer provide excellent voltage regulation. Our variacs are designed in such a way that they provide zero wave form distortion and the variacs can easily operate for easy movement of tracks.

The output voltage can be varied from zero voltage to full voltage or upto 12% higher than supply voltage. The normal input voltage is 415 V and the output can be 470 V or upto 490 V.

These three phase variacs are designed with special features which are appropriate for educational institutions ,Testing labs etc. We provide with motorisation, distant control desk for increasing or decreasing ,zero start and any special features

Features of Three Phase Variable Auto Transformer

SMOOTH CONTROL : A variac can be set to any output voltage within its range. Output voltage is continuously variable from zero to maximum. As voltage between turns is small and as the bush arm is constant touch with more than one turn harmful sparkling is avoided and the ouput can be set very easily to a fraction of a volt from zero onwards by rotation of the knob.

LOW OPERATING TORQUE : A smooth carbon brush and the perfect assembling of the coils result in low operating torque for the auto transformer

BETTER EFFICIENCY : Very low loss under all loud conditions. Our variable auto transformers are designed with very low loss grain oriented strip cores. Careful selection of copper ensures the use of low watt loss as compared to other type of controllers.

NO WAVEFORM DISTORTION : Our variac offers distortion less output voltage waveform

BETTER REGULATION : The drop in voltage from No load to full load is very minimal in variac

LINEAR OUTPUT VOLTAGE : Output voltage varies linearly with angle of rotation of control knob

ADVANCED DESIGN : Excellent electrical specification is matched by rugged compact construction. Brush replacement is simple and convenient. Two ,three or more units can be ganged on one shaft for series and parallel connection
